This film is based on a true story of a soldier Michigan, where during the war in Vietnam and is located in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas. The story follows a soldier who, after being dumped by his girlfriend, he decides to sneak back home from the war with his best friend to win her back.

Love and the price are the passionate story of a young soldier who helps his best friend to win back the heart of his girlfriend in a secret trip back from the front in Vietnam at the time of the protest and social revolution, and in the process to find love for the first time.

The movie was filmed in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan shot on 11 July and 12 August 2011. Movie scene was also in Ypsilanti, Michigan. International sales Illumination Entertainment acquired in May 2012. Entertainment lighting designed to premiere the film in the market for international buyers at Cannes in May 2012.
